FAQs
Can I use Swasthika with older WordPress themes or page builders like Elementor or Divi?
Swasthika is a block theme designed for Full Site Editing and works best with the native WordPress block editor. While you can use it alongside page builders, we recommend sticking to Gutenberg blocks for the best experience, as mixing block themes with traditional page builders may lead to compatibility issues.
How do I import the demo content included with Swasthika?
After installing the Swasthika theme, you can import the demo content using a compatible importer plugin (like the WordPress Importer or a block-specific tool). Instructions are provided in the included documentation, guiding you to replicate the demo layouts for quick setup.
Is Swasthika compatible with WooCommerce for adding an online store to my healthcare site?
Yes, Swasthika supports WooCommerce, allowing you to add e-commerce features like selling healthcare products or services. The theme’s block-based templates and global styles ensure a consistent look for your store, though minor customizations may be needed for advanced WooCommerce layouts.
Can I translate Swasthika into other languages for my healthcare website?
Absolutely! Swasthika is translation-ready and compatible with plugins like WPML or Loco Translate. You can easily translate text strings and customize the theme for multilingual healthcare audiences using standard WordPress translation tools.
What happens if I switch to another theme after using Swasthika?
Switching from Swasthika to another theme will preserve your content (posts, pages, and media), but block-based templates, patterns, and global styles specific to Swasthika may not carry over, as they rely on Full Site Editing. Non-block themes might require you to recreate layouts manually.
Does Swasthika support custom post types for healthcare-specific content like doctor profiles or services?
Swasthika works with custom post types created by plugins or custom code. You can create doctor profiles, services, or other healthcare-specific content using plugins like Advanced Custom Fields or Custom Post Type UI, and style them with Swasthika’s block patterns for a seamless look.
Do I need to install any additional plugins to use Swasthika’s Full Site Editing features?
No, Swasthika’s Full Site Editing capabilities work out of the box with WordPress 6.0 or higher, using the native Gutenberg block editor. However, to utilize the integrated Appointment Booking, Contact, and Newsletter forms, we recommend installing the free Fluent Forms plugin, which Swasthika is optimized for.
