We are not providing support for EE2. The attached file of the add-on does not contain copy of the EE3.

ZealousWeb’s Smart Export PRO module is a powerful tool that facilitates the exportation of data from default field types and third-party field types. The ‘Smart Export PRO’ add-on for ExpressionEngine is an evolved version of the Smart export module.
ExpressionEngine is a feature-rich content management platform that caters to the needs of both small, static, and dynamic content-heavy sites. The ‘Smart Export PRO’ is a channel-based user-friendly module allowing users to export channel data into CSV and XML formats without needing to write any queries.
ExpressionEngine utilizes Channels to store your content. A channel can be defined as a container that holds information for ExpressionEngine. The data stored may be in the form of the text of an article, blog post, an image, or another format. Information stored on a channel exists independently from the pages that your visitors see. ExpressionEngine supports a variety of Field types to ensure that the information stored in each of your channels is accurate according to the data type.
The ‘Smart Export PRO’ add-on allows you to export specific field data using filters. Using the Smart Export PRO module, you can create export settings, choose the default or dynamic fields you wish to export, select entry status or data range filters, and save the export settings for use in the future. Once you have applied a filter, you can sort through data based on the particular export setting. The plugin allows you to make multiple export settings and access the data together. A template is a container with the output information for data in any form, RSS, CSS, HTML, XML, etc., that can be exported collectively using the Smart Export PRO add-on.
The Smart Export PRO module is designed to export everything from a channel entry in CSV, XML, and JSON without needing to write any queries. It allows you to download the full export at once or create an export file on a server and download it later.
Follow below steps to install Smart Export PRO version:
EE2:
- Download and Extract ZIP file of the module. (We recommend to use the latest version.)
- Copy Smart_Export_Pro > EE2 > system > expressionengine > third_party > smart_export folder to “Your Site > system > expressionengine > third_party” Folder.
- Copy Smart_Export_Pro > EE2 > themes > third_party > smart_export folder to “Your Site > themes > third_party” Folder.
- Login to backend panel with Super admin credentials.
- Go to “Add-Ons > Modules” and Install Smart Export PRO module.
EE4:
- Download and Extract ZIP file of the module. (We recommend to use the latest version.)
- Copy Smart_Export_Pro > EE4 > system > user > addons > smart_export folder to “Your Site > system > user > addons” Folder.
- Copy Smart_Export_Pro > EE4 > themes > user > smart_export folder to “Your Site > themes > user” Folder.
- Login to backend panel with Super admin credentials.
- Go to “Developer > Add-Ons” and Install Smart Export PRO module.
EE5_EE6:
- Download and Extract ZIP file of the module. (We recommend to use the latest version.)
- Copy Smart_Export_Pro > EE5_EE6 > system > user > addons > smart_export folder to “Your Site > system > user > addons” Folder.
- Copy Smart_Export_Pro > EE5_EE6 > themes > user > smart_export folder to “Your Site > themes > user” Folder.
- Login to backend panel with Super admin credentials.
- Go to “Developer > Add-Ons” and Install Smart Export PRO module.
Some of the features of Smart Export PRO are listed below:
- Easy to Install and use.
- Exports channel entries without writing queries. (channel wise)
- Support MSM sites. You can set export as Public or Private. In Private mode, it will hidden for other users who can access backend. (Except for Super admin.)
- Handle big amount of entries while exporting. We are introducing AJAX based export in PRO version. Now you can export thousands of data with a single click. If your memory limits run outs, just set ajax based export by some limit of entries per ajax call.
- Allows to Export the entries in XML and CSV formats.
- Allows to filter entries by their Status.
- Exports all the primary data including Channel title, URL title, Entry date, Author, Status, Categories etc.
- Allows user to choose the custom fields while exporting.
- Supports Relationships fields to export and facilitate user to choose the base of relationships entries to export. i.e., Title, URL title, Entry ID.
